In 2002 we started the Adodo Community Initiative, giving a percentage of anything a customer spent with us to the school or charity of their choice.
It was ahead of it’s time for a small local business and we won awards.
Sales grew.
The link between giving and receiving was proven.
But we didn’t really have a plan, it was only a great idea.
Life got in the way and before you know it the Initiative no longer got the commitment it deserved.
Sound familiar. Whether it be an initiative or your yearly plan it doesn’t have to be that way.
If the idea was sound, regain the courage to see it through.
Have confidence in your ability.
You realise I’m talking to myself whilst writing this.
As of today, Black Friday 2017 the Adodo Community Initiative is alive and well.
There’s lots going on behind the scenes and 2018 is going to be an exceptional year. You notice I’ve not mentioned Brexit, the state of the British Economy, the instability of world order and currency fluctuations.
In the end none of that matters if your own numbers are not what they should be.
